I suppose it is a possible thing.  I don’t think it has happened yet, though I am never as difficult to trick as I think I am, and all of the people have it in them to be liked and loved and necessary in the night. I am often here, or nearby.  If I go to a place alone it makes most sense to tie bits of string to me and things I see and might recognise.  Sometimes I get tired and go to bed, so if you go there eventually you will find me.  Or I will find you. Also the place where they keep the bones you shouldn’t touch.  I touch them often so even if I am not there you can see if they have been grabbed or licked or recently put in a pocket.  Also, check the bath.  Just in case.
